We provide evidence-based, compassionate psychotherapeutic care for adults, adolescents and families who are navigating the challenges of justice system involvement. This includes those who are currently involved as defendants or plaintiffs, as well as those whose behaviors place them at high risk for future legal difficulties. We also work with individuals who have been victims of crime, recognizing the unique emotional, social, and developmental impacts of these experiences.

We integrate a range of evidence-based approaches—such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), trauma-informed care, parenting and family-based interventions—to address emotional regulation, impulse control, interpersonal effectiveness, and trauma recovery.

Our clinicians are experienced in supporting youth with diagnoses such as conduct disorder and oppositional defiant disorder, as well as other complex emotional and behavioral challenges. Treatment is tailored to meet the specific needs of each adolescent and their family, with a strong focus on building trust, fostering accountability, and promoting resilience. We also collaborate with parents, families, schools, and community supports to create a coordinated plan for long-term success.

In addition to individual psychotherapy, we offer parent/caregiver support in enhancing the parent-child relationship - including increasing positive relationships and behaviours, setting boundaries and limits, as well as coping with navigating the legal system.

Our goal is to provide a safe and affirming therapeutic space where youth and their families can heal, grow, and develop the tools they need to move forward with hope and stability.
