Is your child struggling with completing homework, organizing their materials, or experiencing difficulty with staying on top of school?

Our EF services can help.

Help your child build the real-world skills they need to learn with confidence. This structured, direct-instruction and evidence-based coaching group is designed for kids with ADHD, ASD, and executive functioning challenges. Using a scaffolded approach, we explicitly teach, model, and practice each skill together so youth know what to do, when to do it, and how to stick with it.

What is the EF Coaching Program for Youth?

What will my child learn and practice?

  1. Homework management: breaking down assignments, planning study blocks, tracking due dates, and avoiding last-minute rushes.

  2. Organizational skills: setting up simple systems for backpacks, binders, folders, lockers, and digital files.

  3. Managing time effectively: estimating time, using timers/calendars, and building after-school routines that actually work.

  4. Responsible use of AI (when applicable): how to use AI tools ethically for brainstorming, outlines, and study support—without replacing their own thinking.

  5. EF & learning awareness: understanding attention, working memory, planning, and self-monitoring—and how these impact school success.

  6. Progress monitoring & fidelity: brief check-ins and skill rubrics each week to track growth and ensure the program is delivered consistently and effectively.

  7. Self-advocacy practice: identifying needs, using clear language to ask for help, and partnering with teachers to access accommodations.

  8. Parent connection: scheduled parent check-ins and information meetings so strategies are reinforced at home.

What does the program entail?

  • Format: Small-group, direct-instruction with guided practice and take-home tools.

  • Schedule: Two evening options — Tuesdays or Thursdays — for approximately 12 weeks, starting mid-September.

  • Location: North York — 137 Finch West Avenue.

  • Also available: Individual EF coaching in person or virtually.
