Joanne Seel is a clinical social worker with over twelve years of experience providing counseling to children, youths, adults and families.
Joanne graduated with a Masters of Social Work from Michigan State University, with additional training in child development. Additionally, Joanne has completed training in Narrative Therapy, Emotionally focused therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
Joanne has an interest in working with couples and families. She has completed specialized trainings, an externship, and supervision through ICEEFT in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy and Emotionally Focused Family Therapy. She has ten years of experience providing family therapy and parent therapy to those families facing the stressors that can accompany mental health and addictions.
Joanne provides therapy for a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, self esteem, addictions, relationship challenges, and life stressors. She works from an attachment lens that explores the impact that past and current relationships have in our lives.
